A big part of Tears of the Kingdom seems to be the ability to fuse things together, whether that be weapons or vehicles (see: boats), opening the game's realm of possibilities even wider.

Once I got around to awkwardly relearning the controls under the watchful eyes of my Nintendo handlers, I stuck a mushroom onto my shield-a fresh feature that Nintendo teased in the title's first gameplay trailer-and went to town.
